Representing the AKA and Sharkey's in Korea
November 9th through the 17th marked a a week long trip in Korea for Sensei Jeremy Talbott. Sensei Jeremy was invited to participate in a international consulting committee for the new Taekwondo Park in Muju, South Korea. Joined by 84 other members from 13 different countries, Sensei Jeremy first traveled to Jeonju where he met with the Govenror of the Jeollabukdo Province, the mayor of Muju as well as the President of the Kukkiwon. There, amongst other participants they discussed traditional culture of Korea and how it would play a major part in new the Taekwondo Park.
Afterwards they were off to Muju to see the site of where the park will be built. They were given a full explaination about the funding, both from the government and from private parties, as well as given an inside look on the new plans for the park which now include a traditional Korean village, a language learning center and an amusement park. The Taekwondo Park, which is slated to be finished in 2013 is set to be the new "Mecca" for Taekwondo practitioners.

Austalia, South Africa, Canada and USA
When asked about the trip Sensei Jeremy said, "I always love coming back to my 2nd home in Korea. This trip was especially significant because I was able to play a role in a project that will help bring people from all over the world together to share a common interest of martial arts.. I believe the best part of the trip was that I got to see my in-laws who live in Jeonju and I was able to meet and make new friends from all over the world. I have been invited by the delegates from South Africa, Columbia and Australia to visit, pracitice and participate in their upcoming events. I am hoping to be able to do just that."
