John Sharkey, Jr. Mr. Sharkey is in charge of overseeing all departments within the American Karate Association. He delegates the workload amongst the other AKA officers and works with the promoters and has the final say on all AKA related decisions. Jeremy Talbott Jeremy is the key director for the AKA tournament circuit. He is in charge of rules & regulations for AKA sanctioned events. He also trains the judges and scorekeepers and provides aide where needed. Behind the scenes, he organizes, manages the sanctioning requirements for tournaments as well as tabulates point standings for the AKA competitors. If you are interested in becoming an AKA sanctioned tournament or if you are a competitor/coach/parent and have any questions regarding points or tournament placements, contact him.
Sue is responsible for all matters related to AKA membership. She receives the applications, organizes current member information, and coordinates the AKA newsletter. For any questions on membership, contact Ms. Wojnarowicz.
